The stock hydrolastic (wet) suspension as often found on the early Minis has become almost impossible to maintain. The most logical solution is to convert or upgrade the system to the stock 'dry' suspension.
This upgrade kit includes KYB shocks (2 ea- 442001 for the front & 2 ea 442002 for the rear), a special set of coil springs (C-SRP100), Hi-Low adjustable ride height suspension system (C-STR644), and upper and lower front shock mounts (C-AJJ3359 & C-AJJ3361).

Question:
You have two kits for the wet to dry that look similar, and only have different springs. I cannot find what is the different between the red springs and the blue springs that are in these two kits. Could you explain the differences and which kit may be better suited for what application?
Answer:
The blue springs tend to be a bit softer than the stiffer red springs. That's the difference.

Question:
Is it possible to get this kit but only for the rear of the car?
Answer:
No, sorry. We only sell complete front/rear conversions.

Question:
Hi just wondering if this kit works ok in a 1968 Mini Cooper with wet suspension or do I need to start with a dry subframe? Thanks
Answer:
Thanks for asking. The kit does NOT require the use of a dry subframe.  Even the wet trailing (swing) arms are retained as you simply have to drill and tap the arms to accept the lower shock bolt.
