In their "vintage" tire selector, if you change the aspect ratio, it blanks out the diameter and gives all the "165" tires they offer, which included the 165/60 R14 Firestone. techzpod mobdro download

Hey Matthew, I think your woody is my old one that I sold years ago. I just ordered some tires from Mini Spares. NANKANG 165/60/12 GREEN SPORT ECO PLUS £ 35.70 a piece which works out to less than 60 bucks CAD a tire. With shipping they work out to $105 per tire delivered to the door. Randy in Sherwood Park

And I have 13"

With the price of gas going up my Mini will be my primary driver, except when it's wet then it's the pickup.

Sorry Matt - my mistake.

In their "vintage" tire selector, if you change the aspect ratio, it blanks out the diameter and gives all the "165" tires they offer, which included the 165/60 R14 Firestone.

If you select the tire you want and click on the "Get Quote" button, it opens the quote dialog. You then select the province of delivery "Saskatchewan" and it builds the quote. See attached image.
If you want to place an order, I guess you fill in the rest. Nice that it does not collect data on you until you want to actually order.

I *believe* they're 165's.

I haven't driven the thing in 3 years now.

As always, Dan is probably right.

p.s.-good on all the spammers Dan.  I keep looking for a "like" button, ha ha

Ditto to what Mike says. $89 CDN in 2004. Shipping Montreal to Ottawa was $30 for four tires.
My tires have been summer driven, garaged, and are still in good condition. Probably half worn (no idea of mileage), no drying, cracks or other visual problems. Tread grip OK on dry pavement, not so good on wet. Mounted on alloy wheels similar to what you have, Matt.
They fit well in the wheel arches, though your knuckle joints have to be good or they may rub on plastic wheel arches at full lock.

I suspect the Falken ZE-914 is a modern replacement for the FG-09G.

Talon Tire currently offers
Falken ZE-914 165/60R12 71H for $115 CDN
Firestone Multihawk 165/60R12 75H for $124 CDN
Yokohama A539 165/60R12 71H for $144 CDN

or Yokohama Advan A048-R 165/55R12 for $189 CDN

Are they 145 or 165 Mike?

Hi Matt,

I run 12" Falken FK09 's (I think that's the number--car is in storage and not easily reached) purchased from Talon Tire in QC....delivered to my door...quite some time ago now...but it was a good deal.

I like them.

I know full well about 10" selection and performance etc..... but needing some 12" and looking for opinions from those that run 12".
Car is a casual driver ( will be parked up for winter soon ) not raced etc.  Hwy and city.  Fitted with 3.1 FD so comfortable 120kph speed

Wheels are Rover "Minilite" style spokes

Options are the A539 , Falken ZE-914  both of which are 165/60R12
or
145\70 nankang
