I would clean your ground connection from battery to body.

Fellow Minioids, My 1968 Mini Cooper S will not start. I drove it around with a freshly rebuilt engine on Sunday. It drove fine. I parked it in my drive and tried to start an hour later and just heard a click from the solenoid. I changed to another solenoids, same thing click. I put a battery charger on the battery for two hours, turned the key, click again. I tested the battery with a tester. It is fine. I wonder if it is the started motor now. It is a reduction motor, not a stock starter. It has always cranked the engine over just fine for the past few years. Thoughts?
