Can't answer your question directly, but here is what I found:

P0193
Rail pressure sensor, electrical: Short circuit to B+
The diagnosis function monitors the upper voltage limit of the rail-pressure sensor.
Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor 'A' Circuit High

The fault is recognized when the voltage of the rail-pressure sensor exceeds 4.6 V.

Potential problem source(s):
- Defect in wiring harness between DME and rail-pressure sensor
- Defective rail-pressure sensor
- Defective DME

Repair procedures (plant/service)
- Check wiring harness between DME and rail-pressure sensor
- Replace rail-pressure sensor
- Replace DME

I saw your post on NAM and read the list of items you have already replaced...  not sure what else I can recommend. 

Maybe someone else can chime in....

Hi all,
On my 2012 MCS, I'm getting a CEL for P0193 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Bank 1 and have replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor (FRPS) but still get the code along with limited power, so no Turbo .
I've checked the wiring and found the FRPS wiring connector to have 5v on the supply line, 0v on the neutral line, and 5v on the signal line (should be much less and be proportional to the sensed pressure). I've checked the engine wiring harness to determine if the FRPS signal line might be shorted to another line where there is 5v but couldn't find any issue. What I did find is that the FRPS and the High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) wiring were not quite what is expected when compared to the Bentley Manual. 
Here's the comparison:

Page ELE-58 of the Mini Cooper Manual shows:
The Volume Control Valve (Bosch high pressure pump), Y2381, with connector X2381:
Pin 1 (WS) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 36.
Pin 2 (SW) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 34.

On my factory engine harness and one from a 2013 Mini Cooper S the wiring is as:
Pin 1 (WS) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 30 (vice 36).
Pin 2 (SW) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 32 (vice 34).

The Rail press. Sensor, B2261, with connector X2261:
Pin 1 (GE) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 32.
Pin 2 (WS) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 28.
Pin 3 (BL) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 30.

On my factory engine harness and one from a 2013 Mini Cooper S the wiring is as:
Pin 1 (GE) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 36 (vice 32).
Pin 2 (WS) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 38 (vice 28).
Pin 3 (BL) goes to plug connector X60232 pin 34 (vice 30).

Additionally, page 130-58, ECM pin assignments for connector X60212 32 pin gray, lists 32 rows where in fact this connector has 48 pins. The pin assignments for the fuel rail pressure sensor and fuel volume control valve do not match up exactly with page ELE-58 or what I found with the harness wiring.

Has anyone seen this before or have any thoughts about it?
