Not much more I can add except for our standard recommendation of getting a pre purchase inspection done by a shop that is familiar with MINIs.
Your chances of getting a 'good' MINI is improved on a car with documented service records. Unfortunately, you can do everything to maximize the chances of getting a good used car, but there is always a risk with any used cars.
Good luck and let us know how this turns out!

Should be a pretty good car check the service records frequent oil changes with good oil are important It is getting to the miles it may need an intake carbon clean it's expensive if you don't do it yourself. Something to think about.

I'd think a vin decoder would give you a model year.

Or visually it would be different per the below link

Aug 10 was the change over, so somewhat unlikely you'd have a July or earlier 2010 build date registered as a 2011, but still worth checking because that N14 engine is so bad.

Are there any major concerns i should have? anything i should be wary of when inspecting the vehicle? i would appreciate any input.
