There may be a defect with the ac/heat controls, or maybe the software in the controller is corrupted, or a connection issue between the two.

You might try accessing the back side of the controls and re-seat all the connectors to see if anything changes.

Hey guys, my 2012 Cooper S has been having climate control distribution issues. To put it simply, It doesn't matter where I turn the nob, the air blows out of every hole in the car. Heat works fine and A/C works fine. But if I want to select to blow out of a specific place, it doesn't work, the air just blows out of every hole. Anybody know where I can start to find the problem? Thanks.
