***Update*** well my parts are done and ready to be shipped yet awaiting shipping confirmation. See them when I see them I guess right now.

For the future I know what to expect for timing of CF parts. Live and learn but I still think business operations should be more transparent when it comes to product.

I've ordered carbon parts from Rogue, and I've ordered from some of those suppliers you mentioned in the UK. You won't get any different service from those in the UK.

I'm still waiting on about $2K worth of parts from one of the UK suppliers that I ordered at the beginning of the year. I'm not mad because that's what you get when you deal with boutique companies who are doing one-off parts and keeping their quality high.

I know that's not what a lot of people want to hear, but these aren't major manufacturers making ABS parts. My Rogue parts are GREAT quality and I'd gladly show them to anyone who wants to see them. MY Carbon Weezel parts will be featured in a future video and I have some others that I might just show all in one  video.

Bottom line, this isn't a unique experience, but it's also not unique to one manufacturer. Expectation Management could be better from these manufacturers, but you aren't being screwed over.

I contacted Rogue Sevens toward the beginning of the year about ordering several parts for my car (the parts I've seen from them look very nice) - but got basically the same message: 3-4 weeks before the parts could be started - but that they would contact me when the parts were ready to be made. I never heard back.... but thankfully never sent them any money either.

Hope it's just a temporary glitch for them.

Well, he got back to my text saying parts are made and should be ready this week and looking into shipping them out. Not holding my breath about being done this week...well see.

I just want my parts and be done with it. I plan on going with The Arc Angels, Carbon Wezel or ABS Motorsports, all located in the UK for the remaining of my lightweight parts.

Just beware anyone ordering parts from Rogue Sevens Mini that your parts will take way longer than you'd expect in addition to little to zero communication on the status of them.

you should have paid heed to the definition of rogue …. a dishonest or unprincipled man.

Why apologize? That's a bunch of red flags. I'd be mad as hell.

Any forum members near this shop who could swing by and see what's going on?

What more do you need to understand that you are not a valued customer? I would immediately initiate steps for a full refund.

Hey Mania Family,

I've never been one to complain and generally a mellow consumer and very understanding but I'm at a loss for what's happening at the moment.

I wanted to know if its just me or anyone else that has had a similar experience with ordering carbon fiber parts from James Jones from Rogue Sevens Mini in Arizona.

To shed light on the subject I ordered an oriented strand roof and a one piece front end, both in carbon fiber back on April 25th, 2019 and was stated that it would be 3-4 weeks before he would start on my parts with a 50% deposit with no communication about current lead-times. Having ordered custom parts from other individuals before I know it can usually take around 4-6 weeks maybe even 8ish weeks depending, so that's about what I figured in this case. It's now almost 12 weeks later and still no parts and no communication than myself having to text him once a month to check in and no pictures of parts as an update. So now, I'm in a position where I need the parts to continue and finish my build. Communication was made to either fulfill my order if no parts have been made as of yet or refund my deposit, so that I may order from someone else. If I had known this was how it was going to be I would had ordered the parts from a business in the UK.

From what I know he does excellent work but I feel something is a miss here with what's being advertised in that if a company is that backlogged with orders that it should be stated as to what the current lead-times are before taking on more orders (or peoples money for that matter) and not delivering in a respectable timeframe. I know of a serious mini business that have dealt with Rogue Sevens that are still waiting for parts that were ordered 2-3 years ago that keep getting the runaround too.

I'm sorry and apologize for this post, I really do, but I hate to say it my friends but I feel enough is enough and the word needs to be out there about Rogue Sevens, so people can make there own informed decisions before purchasing parts cause I do not want others to be in the same situation as I am in experiencing such a vast delay and lack of communication.

So if you have first hand experience similar to mine I'd like to hear from you - thank you!
