I would keep the AC it’s a nice feature, and required in some parts of the US, should you want to sell the car in the future.

summer.. check on the www.vancourverminiclub.ca website. for AC parts.. think Craigs and Hunter both have AC units for sale.. and cheap. as they do NOT seem to use them in BC Canda.. later bc

The air condition is not working in my Mini and I will be taking it this week to get it checked out. If it is something ridiculous to repair, I am considering removing it completely. Seems like having AC on a little 40hp engine would be a bit of a load for such a small engine. I live in Florida and AC is nice but this is not my primary vehicle so it's not a necessity. My question is mechanically, could removing the AC components cause any issues with the engine?
