Haynes grew to an empire. Quite a facility they have in the U.K.  I bought my first Mini in 1981 and the Haynes manual that came with it is still my go to book on Mini repair. Thank you Mr. Haynes.

And his UK museum is incredible-the all red car collection and the Moke suspended from the ceiling are something to see!  And all paid for selling his repair manuals.....

SCUM #2. "Life is too short to own just one classic Mini!"

Seems the older versions are a bit more focused, with more information, compared to the newer ones, as far as the early mini goes.

Over the years I've heard a lot of people complain about Haynes manuals.  I always found Haynes to be a really great resource.  Haynes manuals were always much more helpful than the Chilton's and Clymer's manuals that were available back then.

John Haynes the  founder and creator of the Haynes Manual passed away on Feb 8th

Everyone here should pick up their Haynes mini manual and say a prayer
