Passenger windows are installed ... lots of masking tape, cardboard and clamps.
I hope I can repeat this success on the driver side.
thanks for your input.

Its also much easier to install the glass with the doors upside down .. which is easier with the doors removed from the car
There was a mention of “mastic”.... I haven’t found this necessary ...However, DO NOT use any form of silicon sealant. It goes on fine but you will never disassemble the windows again.....
Cheers, Ian

Hi Roger, yes trim the rubber guide to fit. the windows, lower glass track and the chrome latch track all get fed into the upper glass track at the same time, then pushed outward into place at the bottom. There should be fresh mastic or caulking to seal the chrome latch track to the door inner edge, then slide the glass as needed to install the screws. Latches can be installed after. Some tape on the outside of the door window opening can help prevent dropping the glass through the hole.

Any tips or tricks re: installing the sliding windows?
The windows and lower guides and metal trim are removed.
i just purchased new lower guides for the windows.
i have been able to align the drain and screw holes but the lower guide
seems to be too long and prevents me from easily installing the windows.
is it OK to trim this piece or am I missing something?
are the latches installed after the windows are in?
i am trying to not drop and break the windows!
thanks in advance for sharing your experience.
