If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Give a car more power and it goes faster on the straights,
make a car lighter and it's faster everywhere. Colin Chapman.

Yeah, short straights are the muscle car's Achilles heel, right? Rosebud tends to 'bounce' on tight turns, even when the tarmac is smooth and flat. Rather than just sliding off line in a tight, high G turn, she grips, hops and grips again. I'm fine with it up to 50 mph or so. I haven't experienced any 90 mph sweepers, but seems like it would be unsettling. I'm sure the racers could tell us how to dial it out and have a more linear drift.

Winton Historic Race Group N (Minis & Muscle cars). More great door-to-door racing from down under.

• Race No. 1. Jason Armstrong #77 doing a great job staying with the Mustangs & Camaros. [https://youtu.be/uoVxBXx7uM8]
• Race No. 2. Once again, #77 keeping up with the V8s. Watch Jason dispatch a Mustang to the infield at min. 1:10. [https://youtu.be/OQQkhJ_OzAQ]

EDIT: Fixed link.
