If you want better performance than K&N, I think ITG might be the way to go, and you have the added benefit of not having yet another set of K&N.

Personally I would want a pair of vintage Warneford Design filters with modern oil-foam filters. You can get the foam at motorcycle shops or online.

If you fit substacks, make sure they are well clear of the filter or they will harm flow and performance.
