Happy Spring DC, its time to pull that Classic Mini out of the garage, and spin its wheels!!! On Saturday April 14th, 2018 The Capitol Mini Register will put on a Classic Mini Drive from Cars & Coffee in Great Falls, VA and drive into Leesburg and cross the Historic Whites Ferry for a nice scenic drive through Montgomery County, MD. The drive will end with a bite to eat at Bassetts in Poolesville, MD.

Cars & Coffee is a must see... if you have not been there before, all kinds of rare and high dollar cars can be found there, parking is tricky earlier on so you may need to circle the lot a few times. Typically it starts at 6:30am if your an early bird, or roll in when you want (8am is a perfect time to find parking). it usually ends around 9am, so it should not be a problem for us to park our cars together. We will leave the parking lot at 9:30am SHARP!! The next stop will be at the Whites Ferry Parking lot. After cramming our Mini's on the ferry, we'll cross the river into Maryland and cruise the country roads for a bit and end at a restaurant TBA. All cars should have a full tank of gas, and some cash on hand for the Ferry fee $5-10 if I recall.
