Anyone know the bilstein part number for all around shocks? i bought the KYB Premiums and they are absolute garbage. Have no stifness to them at all. Even when i was putting them in i kept shaking my head at how easy they moved.

Yes i did, had to do a garage men's lean. Got the title in my business name and then went to the DMV and they didn't say anything about it and gave me the title lol I was nervous the whole time thinking they would give me a problem. But nope she took her first voyage a week ago. Runs amazing. I see now why they are such popular cars!

Thank you sir, i thought it looked to new lol

The car also has a alarm called Gemini 1001? Im guessing this was also installed by the dealer?
Yes or an owner.
No Classic UK Minis came with alarms until they went from carb to spi around 1991/2 and that was run through the ecu.

Any period radio will be suitable, but also perfectly acceptable to not have a radio. That's not uncommon either.

Those look like "reverse" wheels.  Not factory .....S 9 hole configuration though.

I think they were orig used to push out the wheels and give the S look to drum braked cars.

Or a reverse light if fitted.

The one in the center of the dash is where a screen washer manual pump switch would have been originally installed so maybe it now has an electric one.

That is a UK road tax disc which would indicate the last time it was taxed in the UK.
I am sure it was a tow away at sometime and just abandoned or the owner could not come up with the necessary US/UK paperwork to retrieve it.
Nice gift.

I'm curious what you mean by a '99 registration.  Do you mean a tax disc ?

Those are the only stickers on the car, just curious about all the info for this car.
Long story short i own a truck repair shop in NYC and a older man i know has had this mini for he says 20 years at his lot. can not remember how he even got it but he owns a large tow truck company. he recently gave me the vehicle so i have just been curious about it's history.
I see it was sold in England around that time it was registered, just strange how it came to the states and made it to a tow truck yard, no US registrations or anything. We do not have the title but have started the Lien process to get one for it

The majority of the early ones were stamped metal with silver letters and numbers on a black background and there were others with cream/white raised plastic letters and numbers on a black background.
When the front white and rear yellow background ones came out they were all plastic and reflective with a smooth finish.
