A MkIII hood isn't going to fit on a MkII without some fancy work on the brackets

The hood measures 33 1/2" from hinge to hinge. Let me know what you think!

racingflea,
I will measure the brackets tonight and let you know what the distance is. You can compare that to what you need on your '68.

Measure the distance between the hinge brackets. If that's the same you are good.

That is a good question. I would think it would fit up just fine. The emblem on the front is not the same as it would be for the '68. It wouldn't be a bad idea to post that question seperately on the forum to see what the experts say. Otherwise the hood is in really good shape.

I wish I would have made this decision earlier, because that would have been the perfect.

nate-
You live in Ashevillel NC, just too bad you didn't rent a U Haul or a pick up and bring all those parts to Cherokee NC to the CMU Mini 53 last month-
You would have moved most of them and not had any shipping problems/expenses

I'm interested in the tranny you can e mail me address in profile. I'd like the casting number and would like to figure a way to include the primary gear and clutch housing. May be able to arrange local pick up.

NLS,
It would be far less convoluted if you would add an e-mail to your profile or in one of your posts.
Shoot me an e-mail to:
