Hi all.

I found that I have a few Mini related books also. I would like these to go to a good home, so to help me sell the remaining items I am offering them as an incentive FREE with the sale of the items above as follows:

- You may pick one book out of the list below to go with your item IF you select US Mail Priority pre-paid shipping

- Shipping this way because if the item fits, I know the price and I don't have to make two trips to the Post Office

- Basically I will give you the book but I don't want to pay shipping for all that paper

- Each item sold will get a choice of a book, first come first served, one item = one book.

Books:

- "The Book of the Minis" by Staton Abbey, 148pp, Pittman Motorists Library, 1970 edition, average condition. (This is a nice little compact owner's/light workshop manual in compact (maybe 5 x 7) format.)

- "The Works Minis" by Peter Browning, 2nd ed, Nice condition, with slip cover. (Good story, excellent reference for the works efforts over the years.)

- "Cooper Cars" by Doug Nye, 2nd ed, good condition, with slip cover (but torn). (Love this book, if you don't know what John Cooper was actually doing in 1959 (winning the Formula 1 Constructor's Championship) this is a great read.)

- Intereurope Mini Workshop Manual#148, picture of GT on front, average condition (kind of like a Haynes, basically)

- "The Guide to Purchase, DIY and Restoration: MINI" by Lindsey Porter, good condition, with slip cover. 1992 Ed. (Great reference, large format maybe 250 pps)

- "Tuning BL's A-Series Engine" by David Vizard, yellow slip cover, 2nd Ed, reprint 1993. (The classic Tuner's book.)

Note to sales in progress: (CTR, Cranium) I will honor the shipping/prices as per emails but if you wish to opt in for the book offer, I will ship US Mail Priority at my expense and you can still send me the $ / check as stated in the emails this weekend.

I just had a close look, I am not familiar with cork but they look like pressed paper to me. Black/grey, somewhat 'layered' in look edge on, with slight paper-ish tufts here and there.

Thanks for the link can't see them well enough to tell if cork or the old pressed paper type. Could you answer that for me?
