The front seats of the Morris Minor have elastic straps as the support for the bottom and back of the seat. While these do last a long time, they don't last forever, thus if the seat has begun to sag it's time to do a little maintenance. If you are tired of sitting "in" your seats instead of "on" your seat- then you need to replace the straps that hold the bottom together!

Good news; the base straps can be replaced without disassembling the seat cover.
