The headlight bezels come from an early 1960's Chevrolet Corvair.

Still haven't figured out what the headlight bezels are, but I found this, https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0242661/

Early 60's Corvair?

Hard to tell from the OP's posted photo, but it looks like the turn signal light is on the outside with a clear lens.

Thanks Hagerty News for a timely article!

Alex, I was thinking 65 Pontiac GTO, but while being close, that's not what they are. I haven't ruled out 60's era GM though.

I'm wondering what the headlamps are from - I though Galaxie initially but the surrounds aren't right.

Simple recipe for Excitement:  Take 1 Classic Mini. Throw in 1590cc's of engine. Add 5 gears. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan and finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Mini VTEC conversion and full satisfaction. Motor on!

Was talking about show cars with a buddy at lunch today. I mentioned this car. Took some searching but I found it. I couldn't remember the guys name that built it, but it came to me after I got home. He lived a couple blocks from me when I was a kid. I'd ride my bicycle over to his house to see the cars he had, and he had a wolf for a pet, I thought it was a tiger, and maybe he had that too, don't remember. That was over 50 years ago. Crazy show car era, I'm glad I was there to see all the crazy cars that were built. I wonder what happened to this one. He had the purple baby buggy thats off to the far side of it too. Yes it was a baby buggy show car. I don't remember if any of his stuff ran, but the Mini should have. I heard he moved to Hollywood and became a stuntman, and he was killed doing a movie stunt. Don't know if that's true though. His name was Larry Dunn, but I remember his last name as being Dunnemac. The picture posted is from the Oakland Roadster Show, late 60's, early 70's.
