 2003 cooper misfire but no code?

Thanks Spank, I missed that.

Okay, misfire on a 2003 MINI Cooper non-S with no error codes...  Did this start suddenly / recently or has this been going on for some time?

I would start with the standard check of the ignition system:

Check plug condition and gaps (remember to re-torque to spec)
Check plug wires for arching
Check for cracks on the coil - where the wires connect
