Darren: You got your priorities all wrong, minis must come first, when you. Get home and before the snow flies come on over and l will let you test drive one of my minis and you will get the mini bug (again)
Enjoy your holiday

Thanks Guys.. John that's what I'm looking for. The wife is going, so car stuff is out.. looking to see where the best place is to take a selfie with the Hollywood sign, going to the walk of fame.. that kind of crap.. all the tourist-y stuff that needs to be done while there..
And Yes, the Sabres are not there that weekend. They suck this year (and years past). I refuse to watch them till they get their S*** together or someone gives me free tickets, whichever comes first.
Big Al, no time to get into mini's. Working my full time job, and a p/t job at a local bike shop as a mechanic (loving it).. taking classes for my MBA, and family has me busy enough.

You can go to Jay Leno's garage, it's free booking. They allow group of 12 people inside for viewing on a daily basis, you just have to book in advance.
Have fun!!

Well my first thought was the Peterson Automotive Museum.
https://petersen.org/
And in the same general area you will also find the La Brea Tar Pits and the Griffith Observatory.
https://tarpits.org/
//griffithobservatory.org/
If you'd like to see Blade Runner I can recommend the IMAX at Graumans. One of the largest IMAX screens in the country not to mention the history of the theatre.

And if you guys are Disney fans the El Capitan theatre accross the street from Graumans always has something worth seeing. They generally include some live entertainment before each showing (with a genuine theatre organ).

Finding good dining in the area is easy but here are a few fancy places I have enjoyed.
//www.sono***unrestaurant.com/
(the link above should point to Son of a Gun restaurant)
//www.connieandteds.com/
And not so fancy spots to consider.

These ideas are just scratching the surface of what you can find to do. Have a blast!

Well, the wife and I are taking a quick trip to Burbank CA, courtesy of Pepsi Cola. We've turned it into a long weekend.. (arriving Friday night, and leaving Tuesday afternoon). We're going to see the Conan O'Brien show, but are looking for other "must see" things, and places to eat. We currently have reservations at Sur in West Hollywood (It's on some reality show the wife watches). Please let me know your thoughts on places to eat and things to do. Thanks!
