Its amazing how much caster helps isnt it? Be careful, ive heard too much is bad as well and wears parts out but honestly im about to weight those consenquences and add more...i dont mind the firm wheel..id rather it track straight.

And yes,im 150% happy with my car and its a hoopty..cant wait for it to be a decent car..one day..

Engine + tranny + sbframe are a start but making it work is where MANY people get discouraged and loose interest.

HOnda's in mini's have been done over and over= so many of the "kinks" have been smoothed out.

Other things to consider .

Manifold mods, Intake  + exhaust ./ Wiring needs - re wire or hack oem wires / need all plugs to work too.

Clutch + brakes  operable and simple!

Cooling- Fitting small radiator Piping + clamps etc.

Dont forget the tools required for seperate jobs=== Brakes= welding cutting mini bodies  etc and more!

In the end it all adds up - and if you stick with it - to complete the build as this post shows.. owner is happy. Car im working with - added more caster in manually = Oh man = it  got much better!!!

Im not familiar with many but our host sells the minitec kits.Thats what i run and love it ..bolted in with ease.Everything worked great. There are going to be some things to figure out..

Alternator placement on the D series is tight but it takes up uselss space in the back so i like that its there. The intake ...basically space is an issue everywhere but its all pretty simple.Their wiring harness is labeled and very easy.

Some people on here kindve depressed me about the build at first and made me beleive it was going to be something it is not.Car had a 1275 and a 998 in it the short time i had it.I was almost convinced the Vtec was a bad idea...D16z6 with the 3.72 final drive trans. This motor and tranny combo feels like i belongs in a mini.If youre not crazy about the power and want a very easy and manageable motor you could even do a non vtec one probably.Or if you want a beast use a GSR b18 or a type r motor.I opted yo go with what ive used for friends hondas in builds. We like the D motor for turbo builds

how fast do you think you were going? should be fairly easy to calculate if you know the rpm's and factor in the tire size and final drive of the tranny? my old vtec mini would do 138mph/200kph pedal to the floor in 5th, it was driven that fast in germany before i brought it over. fastest i went was 126 mph in an airport fun run timed with radar and it was spooky to me and i was running 7x10" wheels with s racer coils and high los and good adjustable shocks. careful what you wish for.

If you've got a GPS, you can use that for a speedo, or get a GPS speedometer app for your smartphone.

They also surge of the IAC valve is bad which is a common fault on D series Honda's.

Stance baby! Sportspacks are too new for me, I have the full bumper & overriders and want the chrome strip down the side and onto the arches. Have to change out the trans - I hope it's a JDM for the LSD however, final drive to be VX, just have to find. VC may work tho.

I have some of meetthespeaker's Annapolis arches but forget if they have the lip or not, no lip. on the market - (maybe) -McLean's too - google McLean, mexico arches (but I'm sure everyone has seen those...)

I was settled on sportspacks...i love the look of them but...

The minitec frame and the golf cart wheels in the front seems to push the wheels out further.I bought a set of arches that popped up on here for cheap to mock up..the back looks perfect but front is a little wider so im debating..im goingto pull the studsoff the front arches and mock them up soon and see how bad it sticks past.Miglia arches and those mexico ones arent quite the look i wanted. The red one i seen on google is the same wheel size..but im afraid the minitec frame pushed it out a little so im unsure how i will sit in the front...time will tell.

You will LOVE the swap superflyoldguy. Its a blast, better in every way possible. The d15b trans has LSD but a 4.25 final drive or close i beleive...i used a different trans with the 3.72 FD

I'd drive that mini in a heartbeat. Going D Series (JDM D15B), almost got my engine this weekend too. Looks like you havent quite settled on flares yet? I'll do 10" too but I have 13" wheels to try also....

Going for the horrid replica MK1 look and will put MK1 stuff on an internal hinge shell (if I decide it's worth fixing it, seems to have crumbled unnecessarily due to rust in a light front collision) good price, bad shell, but lots of goodies to toss in and under it...

Which intake manifold are you using, I'm in the market for an NA one if you don't use for your turbo changeover?
